Stroudsburg blanks Pen Argyl

Jamie Bittiger has her 100th career hit and 100 runs scored at today’s game at Pen Argyl. Kinley Gioglio didn’t allow a single run against Pen Argyl Area HS, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity to a 5-0 victory on Wednesday

Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Jamie Bittiger singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Pen Argyl Area HS was a single by Kamryn Bonser in the third inning.

Gioglio took the win for Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity. She lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out ten and walking one.

Kishbaugh led Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity with three hits in three at bats.
