Phillipsburg Girls Bowling Advances to Sectionals

Phillipsburg girls bowling hosted Irvington for the semi-finals of the NJSIAA tournament.

Phillipsburg took game one 765 to 542. In game two, Phillipsburg won 892 to 592. Major contributions from PBurg came from Savannah Rutar (380), Shannon Bickert (378), and Sara Haschak (220 game).

The 2-0 victory advances the Liners to sectionals at Bowlero North Brunswick on Saturday, February 24. Phillipsburg will face either Kearny or Union City. The Liners have won two consecutive sectional titles and are looking for their third on Saturday.
