Saucon Valley’s Matthew Chaikowsky and company keep doing their thing

On Tuesday September 17, 2019, Saucon Valley hosted their first meet of the Cross Country season. Runner Matthew Chaikowsky had some words about his season up to this point, “ I had a really good first race setting my PR of 16,10 cutting a decent amount of time off my old PR, but weather has definitely been a factor in runner these different courses.” Chaikowsky a 2018 state placer is looking to make another state appearance and this time hopefully improve his place and time.

Saucon girls Emma Szydlow and Emma Bernstein both ran great times with Szydlow running a 22:10 and Bernstein with a 22:34. Both girls are looking to make a state appearance this year.
